There are many popular blogs I have seen whose names are completely different from their domain name and are performing extremely well if you see from SEO point of view and gaining traffic. This means that you can perform equally well if you have a blog name different from domain name as compare to others who are having blog name the same as a domain name.

So, what is the way or method to choose a good name for your blog? Here are some steps you can follow for proper and right blog name. Read this post up to the end as it becomes interesting in the middle as you read. Here, below I have described the things to consider for choosing a right blog name. However, after this you will find the tips and ideas on how to choose a right and good name for your blog without taking into account the things related to the blog. While selecting a name of the blog, you can pick it in three ways:

2.Choosing the Blog Name partially similar to the Domain Name

In my case, I chose the name of the blog same as the domain name without any reason. But I used the tips that I have given in the tips and ideas section to choose right and a good name of the blog. So, while choosing a name of the blog same as the name of domain, you can examine the thing or even not consider the things related to the blog. But if you are looking to have a pure niche based site, it’s always the best idea to use keywords in the domain name as well as a blog name.

Here is the list of things that you can consider for picking up a good blog name:

- Blog Type/Blog Purpose
- Blog Topics/Blog Niche
- Blogger or Author Name
So, these are the things to consider. But it’s not necessary to consider all these things at all. I saw on various blog posts by other bloggers who advised to consider this type of stuff. But if I need to choose a domain name, I will not consider this stuff.

Think Lovely. Think Gratefully. Think out of the Box. Think Differently. Think Uniquely. Think about the things you Love. Think Imaginative. Think about the things you are crazy. Think differently and choose wisely and smartly.
-Try The Name to Be Pronounce like a Short Phrase:
It’s better to choose a name that can be pronounced with a meaningful and short phrase. Pick the name in a way that when pronounced, it should sound like wise and meaningful. So, why should we choose such a name? The reason is, it looks lovely and is easy to remember. More simple and easy your blog name will be, more it will be easy to recall and remember.
-Try to Mix Up the Name of the Words of the Things Around You:
When you begin to think about something, what you usually do? You may look either here or there. So, we can try to pick the name by looking at the things happening around us.
-Enhance Your Vocabulary:
Sometimes, it is difficult for most of the people to come up with enough meaningful words in their mind. The use of Dictionaries is a good tool in such situations. Explore the Dictionary and find out the relevant words that best fits as a part of your blog name.
